I finished something! I’m so proud! It has actually been done since the 3rd of November, but that’s about when I was working two jobs. After the double-duty ended, the one job I was working went into a 60+ hour week. Couple that with never being home in the daylight, no matter how much I worked, it took a while to get pictures. But I did that yesterday, so now I have fodder for quite a few posts, because I have all sorts of exciting things to tell you about.
But let’s devote this post to my latest FO, shall we?
Pattern: Shetland Triangle, from Wrap Style
Yarn: Zen Yarn Garden Tencelicious Yarn, in Sun Kiss, which was the March offering from the Harmony Semi-solid sock yarn club.
Needle: 3.25mm
Modifications: The pattern has you knit 8 repeats of the main pattern, before doing the border, but I had lots of yarn left after 8 repeats. I started weighing obsessively, and managed to get 10 repeats + the border out of the skein.
I love it! It is little, for a shawl, but it is just enough to wrap around my neck. And this yarn! It feels great on my neck, so smooth, but still warm. My winter coat (well, the one I wear until it gets down to -20C) is mainly green, so I’m going to be very colourful wearing this. I love having a big colourful coat and even brighter accessories in the winter; it makes me happy.
I’ve got all sorts to tell you about, so you can actually expect posts (plural!) from me this week.
