My 101 things in 1001 days list is here. Remember to yell and scream if I don’t have a podcast out every month.

And here is the site that started it all. But the Ravelry group is where I found it. :)

Knitteth Thou?

From A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Act II, sc 2:

O, take the sense, sweet, of my innocence!
Love takes the meaning in love’s conference.
I mean, that my heart unto yours is knit
So that but one heart we can make of it;

Late-Breaking Knitting News!

3 socks with holes! Even more thinning!

Hopefully with the help of this tutorial, I’ll be back in business (and warm toes) soon.

Music:

Today’s music is Good Ol A Capella by Danny Fong’s A Cappella Quartet.

As always the theme music is Greensleeves by Lee Harris and the Tijuana Trumpets.

Both pieces are from the Podsafe Music Network.

Hi, and welcome back! I’ve missed your podcasts. Thanks for continuing.

re: darning socks, My convent raised Mom-in-law told me about the absolute best darning egg…an incandencent light bulb! Inexpensive, light, and just the right shape to darn a sock, toe or heel.

Also, if you haven’t seen it, check out The Twisted Sisters Sock Workbook. They’ve got great instructions for replacing worn out toe and heel sections of hand knit socks!

Again, thanks for a great podcast, and I’m looking forward to the next one.

    Yrs,
    ~Chris
